You've booked us! Now what?

Here is literally everything you will need to prepare for your event!

First, please make sure you have read your contract! Some of it is your standard legal stuff but a lot of it has to do with your specific party. If for some reason we made a mistake or you end up changing the details of your event we will have to send you another one!

Some of this may not apply to your event! If you have booked us for one of our cocktail packages then all of this will apply.

If you've booked us for our RTD package then some of the cocktail info will not apply.

Now, let's talk liquor!

We will work together to get a menu ready for your event. If you know exactly what you want perfect! We will feature those cocktails. If you have no idea then head on down to our cocktails we've featured to give you some ideas!

Have a theme? Tell us your theme and we will make two cocktails and a mocktail to fit the theme. Wether your theme is the color purple or a barbie bachelorette party, we can make cocktails for any event.

How much liquor?

Here is an awesome liquor calculator we use by Total Wine!

Quick note: one 1 liter bottle of liquor will make between 16 and 22 cocktails.

Make sure to check bottle sizes when purchasing!

Where should you buy your liquor?

We recommend that you buy all of your alcohol from either Trader Joe's or Costco. They both have great quality wine, beer, and spirits. You're also able to return unopened liquor to both! But careful, not all Trader Joe's sell alcohol so call ahead of time!

That being said, what will we bring?

For our full cocktail packages (package three and six) we will bring:

  • All of the non-alcoholic mixers for your two cocktails and mocktail

  • All of the plastic glassware

  • All of our tools (small hand juicer for juicing, knife and cutting board, tins, jiggers, small smoker, and other standard bartending tools).

  • Ice

  • Straws

  • Napkins

  • Two coolers (one for serving ice and the other for anything that needs to be chilled) and more if we see that your party needs more

  • A physical menu

  • The physical bar

  • Garnishes that fit your cocktails

  • Garnish picks

  • Two sodas or juices of your choice

  • Mini water bottles for all your guests

  • Anything else pertaining to your cocktails (salt, chamoy, etc)

For our Ready To Drink packages (packages two and four) we will bring:

  • Plastic glassware

  • Ice

  • Napkins

  • Straws

  • Garnish Picks

  • One of our bars

  • All of our tools

  • Our serving ice buckets and coolers

  • If you've booked us for one of these you are also responsible for your menu, garnishes, cocktail mixers, soda, juice, and water!

What we will NOT bring for any of our packages:

  • Liquor! Any main spirit (vodka, tequila, etc) that is part of your menu you will be responsible for bringing!

Let's talk ice!

If you hired us for package one then you will be supplying the ice for your party. So how much will you need? We recommend about 2 pounds per person and a little extra if we're in those hotter months here in Phoenix. Remember some of that ice will melt! Water N Ice is a great option for where to buy ice and we love Sonic's crunchy ice too.

Glassware

When it comes to glassware, if you’d like to supply your own glassware, we will remove the cost of the plastic glassware we use on your invoice. That being said, we won’t have a space to store racks of glassware at your event and we won’t have a way to wash it.

We use high quality plastic glassware and we will use the glassware you see pictured above.

Cocktails

If you want cocktail ideas or would like to know what we've served at other events head over to our "Cocktails" page for a few ideas. Any of these are also easily made into mocktails. If you see one you like but maybe you don't want it spicy or maybe you'd like to tweak something, we are glad to make any modifications to any of them.

The Bar

We have a few different bars. All of our satellite bars are white. If you'd like one of our bars in a different color we are able to wrap them to fit the theme of your party. We are also able to put two together, which is what we do for parties bigger than 75.

Below are pictures of our bars set up at actual events. We need a total of about 4 feet by 4 feet to set up one of the bars. We will also bring two coolers (one for serving ice and the other to chill any RTD beverages that you have). For two bars we will need about 8 feet by 4 feet.

Menu

We do make a custom menu with our cocktail package ONLY and we will provide a physical menu for the bar. You can see some examples below. If you plan on making your own physical menu please let us know.

If you've booked us for package 1 or 2 and you need help with cocktails we can send over a shopping list!

Small Acrylic Sign

This is a great option for parties smaller than 25 guests. We will also have to have your menu finalized 3 weeks before for this menu.

Framed Menu

Framed Menu

This is the menu we typically use and works best for parties of up to 50.

Menu for Trailer

Menu for Trailer

The menu for the trailer package will be large and sit on an easel in order to accommodate a large party.

How will we be dressed?

We dress the same way to every event. We wear a white collared shirt, black jeans, tennis shoes or black shoes, and our signature bartending apron. Depending on the weather we may make small adjustments. If for some reason you'd like us to dress differently to match a theme please let us know with enough time to be able to shop around or order whatever it is that you're asking for!

Trailer Bar

Our beloved trailer bar is the first bar we acquired and the inspiration behind our business. Here are some things you should know if you have hired us to bartend with our horse trailer.

See us on the news with our little trailer here

Will we fit?

The trailer itself is 11.5 feet long by 7 feet wide.

Will we need power?

We have a sink and running water in the trailer that we supply our own power to but will need an outlet for lights. We will come equipped with our own extension cords.

Can we park on the street in
front of your house?

We abide by the phrase "Better safe than sorry". Though we will only be serving your guests, it is better to do so on your private property that is enclosed so that no issues arise!

If you think that this is missing important information that would be helpful to you or future individuals that hire us, please let us know!

Love,
Rolling Sips
